What are the pros & cons of Ubuntu 12.04 vs Zorin Ultimate?

Zorin is based on Ubuntu, so they are quite similar.

In my opinion, your comparing a green Mustang coupe with a stick shift, to a red Mustang convertible with an auto trans.

They are different, but are essentially the same.

It all boils down to, which color do you prefer?

I've used them both and to me zorin actually adds a layer of complexity to the basic O.S. that is not needed.
That being said they are both good systems.

I feel Zorin = All Buntus added.
I feel Zorin hides many system functions behind the desktop, but that just personal. I feel that about Mint also. if a system is based on another system and does basically the same thing then it really becomes personal choice. if you want a windows environment go with zorin or there are others also. Or Windows.
