Install & won't reboot

Hi there, I've just installed Ubuntu and it said that the installation was successful and that I should reboot. But after selecting yrs to reboot, it just hangs on the orange screen - for hours now. Is this normal? I know we should not de a har reset, but alt, control, del does nothing.
