Chrome stable (v. 22) now has a "hotdogs" icon instead of the Wrench (http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=137744).

Change for the sake of ...

The new menu has been appearing on my Windows installation for a few days now. Honestly, who cares? This isn't news, this is a minor (very minor) aesthetic change. So what if Google wants to change the options icon? It's their browser, they can do what they like with it. In all honesty, it looks much better anyways.

Until I read this thread, I paid no attention to that. Now if only I can find an addon with four bars, so they can replicate the bun to hot dog ratio I normally know.

What if it's not 3 hot dogs, but actually the side view of a hamburger?

It's very consistent with the vertical ... on Android. Much nicer looking, if a bit abstract.

Why do they call it a hotdogs icon? It's just 3 lines.

And speaking of the icon, that's the first thing I noticed when I installed Chrome today to use instead of Chromium. I was looking for the wrench and saw this icon. I just thought it was a difference between Chrome and Chromium.
