Hi,
I'm trying to install Kubuntu on a new laptop.
I first used GParted to get rid of the old partitions, and create the ones I wanted.
Next, insert the Kubuntu LiveCD.
I get the message "error: prefix is not set", then the grub loader.
Picking any option here leads to the message "error: couldn't read file", then a load of verbose, then nothing.
I've used to same disc to install on another machine, so I don't think that's the problem.
Any ideas?
