Hi everyone,

I installed Radeon HD 7750 graphic card on my Ubuntu 11.10, sadly to find out that its not supported. therefore I removed the card from the pc and restarted my system to find out that the display (& beaviour) of my desktop degraded...

Issues for example:
* lower quality graphic
* no transparency
* instead of having my 4 desktop workspaces arranges as 2X2 they r now 4X1 (one line)
* when I press alt+tab I can switch only between programs that r running at the specific workspace I'm currently at.

My guess is that since the graphic card wasnt supported, the system reduced its settings but didnt get it up again afterward.. I tried to do it but I can't find how to.

Any help will be much appreciated :)

Would of thought a restart would reset your video. What video card are you running now?

hey jerrrys,

I defaulted to use the motherboard video support, just as it was before.

Thanks
