trashcan widget

I have the trashcan widget on my desktop, and I see that it says that there is one file in the trash. However, when I attempt to access the trash by clicking on the widget, I get an error message that says, "Malformed URL trash:/"

Any idea how to fix this?

Bump. Anyone know about this?

Okay, so I discovered that I can view the contents of the trash by opening the location trash: in a file browser. It just seems that trash:/ is no longer valid. So I can fix this (presumably) if I just modify the location that the trashcan widget links to--does anyone know how I can do that?
