I have a T60p Lenovo Thinkpad with Ubuntu 12.04 on it.
My wireless was fine until an updates manager came up this morning. I installed the updates, and restarted my computer. When I did, it said that Wireless was unavailable. I poked around for a bit and cannot figure out why for the life of me.
