I have two virtual X desktops running for 2 different users, say userA and userB. I can switch nicely between them on the physical monitor using ctrl-F7 and F8.
Now if userA is active on the physical monitor I can start an VNC session to the userB desktop but all I get is a frozen desktop.
If the monitor is switched to userB the VNC session suddenly gets going and previous mouse clicks in the 'blind VNC session' even appeared to have come through.
What I want is when userA is on the physical box, userB can simultaniously work over VNC on his desktop, but this desktop is also available when he comes 'home' and switches the physical monitor and keyboard to his session.
