NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Cisco unveiled a new Internet technology Tuesday that it says will provide the ultra-fast data speeds necessary to stay ahead of users' rapidly growing online video demands.

The new technology, known as "CRS-3," is a network routing system that will be able to offer downloads of up to 322 Terabits per second, according to the company.

Lol, I was keen to read this then I realised that it's just a carrier router and the article is old.

Could your computer even handle speeds that fast?

No. Those are routers aimed at running carrier backbones, it's not even aimed aimed at mere mortals or businesses (unless you are huge).

lol no.

You would probably only find them big telco/isp environments. They also cost about the same as the whole budget a small 3rd world country has. I've never actually seen one, I doubt the country I live in has enough bandwidth to saturate one.
