Dear Forums,
I'm new to Ubuntu and I own version 12.04, my computer blew up awhile back and this was all he could put into it, and personally I've always despised linux so when I found out this was all he could do I was not happy. All I want is to play is games involving Java on my linux but getting it onto my OS is proving to be an extremely difficult task. It seems somewhere along the line of trying multiple links and instruction videos I messed it up and now I have multiple versions of Java on my computer, and to make matters worse, my computer thinks there aren't such files on my computer. I really need help before I take a bat to this thing.
