I was googling around for the best download manager out there for Ubuntu, but many of what I've tried have failed me :(
Until I found flareGet and oh boy! IT'S SO AWESOME! -still in beta though-
It's truly an IDM alternative app for Linux and it's the only one out there with multi-thread technology up to 16 segments/connections just like IDM :D
I know that flareGet is currently may looks like a simple download manager (its GUI) but name one for linux that has a frontend, multi-thread downloading, file segemntation with up to 16 segments/connections and truly very fast just like IDM Internet Download Manager for Windows! (IT CAN DOWNLOAD YOUTUBE VIDEOS NOW!)
You would take a first look and usually say flareGet mimics Orbit Downloader!
Well, flareGet doesn't mimic Orbit Downloader, actually flareGet and Orbit Downloader both mimics IDM! xD
