I am looking for a theme for Ubuntu 12.04 that will make it look like windows 2000. Any out there?

Check the GTK 3 themes Here. http://gnome-look.org/

That is about the most comprehensive list of themes around for download. You could check deviant art or customize .org but you will find that most of those themes are also posted at Gnome Look. There are some Gnome 2.xx themes that are close in appearance but they won't work on 12.04.

I don't know about Windows 2000, but you can make it look just like XP with XPLuna (https://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/XPLuna?content=83797) and GnomeXP icons. I've never installed the theme before but the Tails OS comes with it as an option, although Tails is Debain but the theme should work on Ubuntu.

You can also use the MS Windows 9x theme, although it doesn't make it looks exactly like Windows it does look a *little* more Windows like. I'm sure you could make it even more like Windows if you changed the icon theme and the windows manager's theme (I only changed the GTK theme).

I don't know where the theme is, it came by default on my computer (that was a screenshot I took myself). Does it even work on Unity? I use KDE and it's an option for Kubuntu.
