Hello, I'm Spanish, I do not speak good English, I will try to explain the problem:

I have ubuntu 11.10 and now has left me the following error in the Update Manager, you can install all updates:

I tried to go to System Settings ----> Software Sources ---> updates, to see how I have configured the updates and I think I have the right ... I have boxes marked SAFETY, RECOMMENDED AND NOT SUPPORTED.

I upgraded and updated some updates NOT ALL, had security updates, recommended, and other updates. Image updates (capture) could not be installed.

And there are precisely why my doubts have not updated all SECURITY and RECOMMENDED, if I have them enabled in software sources.

Thanks, I hope you have understood me, I used google translator...

Thanks, I searched for information and found it may have to install the command aptitude (terminal), and install updates with this command ... Am I right?

Use aptitude if you want. I like apt-get, but the choice is yours.
