Hello,
Are there any government organizations that take pictures of bears/cubs and let the public (taxpayers) use the images for free?

NASA, a government agency, snaps pics of outer space and lets the world share/print the images. Is there a corresponding organization for wildlife?

I'm looking for a free pic/illustration to use on a "Congrats on New Baby" greeting card.

Thank you.

Try http://www.openstockphotography.org/, and search for bear cubs.

anarchytech, I initially went to Google Images, but held back from downloading, to respect copyright laws.

Add 'free' to the search. Free images to download.
If they're free you can use them.
