Gnome Shell Dock Customisation

Is it possible to move the Gnome Shell dock extension over to the left and disable the autohide?

Thanks, for future reference the easy method is:

Open dconf-editor

Go to org->gnome->shell->extensions->dock

toggle autohide and left/right position from there
