i am using ubuntu 12.04 on my main puter. i was given a pretty decent laptop by a friend but it is in bad shape. i took a working HDD out of an Acer netbook and put it into the gateway laptop. i have the winblows 7 home premium .iso and im trying to create a usb install disc so i can get the laptop back up and running. i know i can create a ubuntu install usb and just overwrite the whole system but im not sure if the webcam will work. if the webcam will work then im ok with just putting ubuntu on it and going from there. how do i go about creating a usb disc that i can just put in the laptop and do the windows install? i have my reasons for wanting to go with winblows on the laptop but mostly just because i want to be certain that the webcam will work.
