Vista Installation Problem

I tried installing ubuntu on my vista client to dual boot, but ran into a problem. When my laptop boots up, I can see the option to choose Ubuntu, but when I select it, nothing happens.

I get: windows failed to start. A recent hard/software change might be the cause. To fix the problems:

Insert Windows isntallation
Choose your language setting
Click Repair

status: 0xc000000e

Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt


can anyone help me resolve this issue: I can select windows and get in fine, but not ubuntu.

It can't see the wubildr.mbr file. Where did you install Wubi? (an external drive?)
