Hi,
Sorry to be a nuisance, but I have some problems with my laptop. I'm running 12.04 LT, and the machine occasionally hangs. That's not a problem with the OS, but when the machine comes back up, my desktop preferences are invariably hosed. The launcher is back to its default setting, and the 'theme' has been reset.
I could quite easily set up a cron job to save the preferences and scp them somewhere.. but I don't know where those preferences are located. Can someone tell me?

PS Shutter is gone from the launcher. Anyone know how to get it back?
