How to Install NS2.33 in Ubuntu 10.04

im a new user in Ubuntu
and I want to install NS2.33 in my Ubuntu
im using Ubuntu 10.04
can someone tell me step by step how to install NS2.33 in Ubuntu 10.04?

NS2.35 is available using Software Center or Synaptic Package Manager in Ubuntu 12.04.

10.04 will "expire" in less than a year, so it's not a great choice for a new user.
