Just had to post this. I have an old Lemur Ultra 2 with a solid state drive. Like almost 3 years old. I use it all the time, and just throw it in a backpack, and I am not too careful with it. Love the box and it works wonderfully.

Two months ago I was in a motorcycle wreck. The backpack was attached with a bungee net. And am not sure how far the backpack went (someone else found it) but the bike was launched 20 feet between two other cars.

The laptop still works fine.

I do not recommend testing your laptop in this way, however. It hurts.

sounds like an endorsement for the bag too.

haha, if smartphones become as tough as old Nokia phones, it will be a dream come true.

Well, Android phones are making some progress.
iPhone-cracks screen when dropped on pavement.
My Droid Razr-screen is not even scratched after my friend took it out of my hands in his rage and threw it on the ground (his hard drive crashed, and he thought it was all my fault that I could not recover any data).

I remember my old Nokia phone, tough as nails.

Just to update this, I am now over 3 years... And I had my first issue. I had to tighten the screws on the screen hinge. That is all. Everything else running perfectly. :)
