How to install desklets?

Hey, I am using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and i dont know how to add screenlets/desklets on to my machine. i have looked at youtube and related Ubuntu/Linux forums but got nothing.
How do I get them to appear in my gDesklets application?

After downloading the package use the install package function under file on the global menu if using unity. Navigate to the downloads folder , select the package, and open it. I had to install Desklets to test this , it's been a while since I used them. :D

Sceenlets as I remember also had a similar import function and if packages don't install they may be corrupt/outdated.
