upgrade to 12.04 no sound in

Hi Guys
after i have upgraded toUbuntu 12.04.1 LTS , i can't use skype .. i tried to record any thing but with no hope
i installed ubuntu but after that i used KDE inside it
output of uname
linux 3.2.0-30-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

i tried alsamixer but of no use , everything is not muted (i think at least)

it is not laptop , normal pc

any ideas ?
