I have a canon sx230hs which we took on a boat trip in Alaska during heavy fog/rain/ocean spray. The camera definitely got water on it (lens, casing, screen, buttons...) but still works fine.
This got me wondering if anyone knows the general limit of such point and shoots. Surely they must be designed to be able to take a certain amount of rain; cameras should be able to take some pictures in the rain too!
Any thoughts?
