Network Printer 10.10 works - 12.04 not working

I have an HP MFP connected by USB to a computer within my home network, this has Hardy Heron installed and the machine is only used as a printer, scanner server.

Since upgrading my laptop to 12.04 my network printer doesn't work, I get a missing filter error.

Same printer, same computer but using 10.10 liveCD all works fine.

Anyone any ideas as to why a later version does not work.

Thanks, I'll give that a try, network not switched on at the moment, 545am and have to go to work :( but I don't recall needing to select a driver, it just found it.

Don't work but found it quickly.

I cannot find anywhere where the drivers can be changed. WhenLinux works it is great, trying to sort out problems can still be a nightmare.
