I am using Xubuntu 12.04
I have a radio plugged into the audio ports on the back of my Dell 3000 desktop computer.
I can hear the radio fine coming through the external speakers. I use the arecord tool to record my radio shows and it works great!!
If I have the Audio settings open when recording, I can se the audio level meter displaying the audio coming in. If the Audio settings window is closed, the sound is muted. Is there a way around this or do I always have to keep the Audio settings window open when I am recording my radio shows?
