Check and radio buttons displaying off-kilter

The check and radio buttons controlled by my gtk 3.0 theme are displaying strangely. As if there is another button to the left, the bottom, and the lower-right diagonal(screenshot attached). This is a modded theme(Elegant Brit but with dark menus). Does anyone know what part of the css file is controlling this? I'm assuming it's the css.widgets file and something to do with check button indicator size or spacing, but haven't been able to figure it out yet. Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, after trying to figure this out for a few days, I figured it out on my own 20 minutes after I made the first post. Oh well. It came down to resizing and centering the image files of the radio and check buttons. They were too small and off center in relation to the transparent border. Just edited them in GIMP and now they look normal.
