installing yEd on ubuntu 12.04

I was using yEd frequently on ubuntu 10. I upgraded to ubuntu 12 and I don't find yEd in software center. I downloaded yEd.sh from yworks site but when I double click on it, it doesn't install. I tried via terminal. no solution

just run sudo chmod a+x ~/where/your/yEd.sh before double clicking that...

thanks frijal. I installed it with your instructions. I was waiting since so long that someone would help me. Since that time I was obliged to use microsoft office visio because I did not have yEd.
