If you're already running 12.04 and have installed all the updates offered to you then you probably already have 12.04.1.

In a terminal window type lsb_release -a.

If it reports 12.04.1 then you need do nothing more.

If you're not running 12.04 then please tell us what you are running.

looks like i had an update and it updated it marking solved thanks for the help
