Hi,
I have ubuntu installed on my computer, and love it. However, I want to do a clean install and I've run into a problem. When putting the installation media (tried both CD and USB) and boot to it, it goes to the purple screen and then after about a few minutes goes to a blinking command line cursor with nothing on screen. Been trying to fix this all day and I've been getting frustrated. ](*,) Anyone have a clue what's happening??
System:
AMD Phenom II x4 925 @ 2.8ghz
AsRock M3A770DE Mobo
8Gb Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti
