QUESTION:
After I installed/mounted Ubuntu to the laptop's EXT USB drive, is there a way I can change some config files so that the next time it boots it'll know to boot from an INTernal HD rather than look for a USB EXT harddrive?
REASON WHY I'M DOING THIS:
I have HP Mediasmart server that is headless (no vga/keyboard/etc), and I only have a laptop and a external USB drive (3.5") to work with.
So, I want to put Ubuntu on the HP mediasmart server (and there are forums that shows that can be done), but I think mine is failing b/c I'm creating the Ubuntu install from external USB harddrive that is moving to an INTernal harddrive (HP mediasmart server).
If so, I plan to make the file change, save it, move the HD to the server, then reboot! Hoping that this will work.
Thanks so much!
Kenny
