Hi fellas
I just upgraded my ubuntu to version 12.04. Upgrading went smooth and without problem. But as I wanted to log in for the first time I couldn't enter my password, because it's on English but ubuntu gives me just Persian (Farsi) keyboard on log-in page.
I tried to boot passwordlessly, but for some reason I can't, neither in recovery mode, nor by editing grub.
If you can help me to somehow nullify the password, or install English keyboard layout before logging in, that would be a great help. Even if I can somehow copy and paste my password the problem will be solved!
I have important data which stupidly I didn't make back up. Please help!

I had the same problem once. Then I reinstalled the system.
