I run Ubuntu 12.04 from the USB drive I created, and the networking works fine - in fact that is how I am posting. When I install Ubuntu, it seems to not recognize the same hardware I use with the USB drive. (It also doesn't recognize the mouse or keyboard). I can't update the drivers if I can't connect!!!
