Upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04 error

Hello,

I attempted to update my version of Ubuntu from 11.10, which was the latest version of Ubuntu at the time of install, to 12.04 LTS. Now, every time I attempt to start up Ubuntu, I get an error. It's quite long, so I'll just link to Pastebin: http://pastebin.com/TGL4UBeq

There is a mention of apache2, I installed the apache application.

When I start up Ubuntu, the loading bar shows (the one with four or five dots) and then the messages start popping up...

I would appreciate any help.

I know this isn't much help but this is why when I upgrade I always do it from a live CD... I am curious if it hangs on checking battery state?

Yes, it's at Checking battery state all the time, doesn't change. Also, the method I used was Ubuntu's built-in updater.
