i have this quesiton..
i have 9.04 which was upgraded from 8.10 .. my update manager shows 10.04.3 as the next upgradable version. but i am confused as i have heard we cannot skip intermediate release of ubuntu... why is it showing so ?
also i have heard that 9.04 supports ext4 but doesnt uses it by default.. and have red a lot of good things about ext4.. so i want to convert my current fs to ext4 without formating and clean install way .. what are some of the options that i have ? what softwares can i use.. i have acronis on xp .. its a dual boot with xp.. can i use that to convert from ext3 to ext4 ...?
what is the fastest and safest way to do so ? and how much time will it take >
my specs are 1ghz piii cpu with 512mb sd 133 mhz ram. and 256 MB gpu..
