So sorry to post this here, I meant to post it in the Backtrack forums but for some reason I can't log in there. Since I am about to install Ubuntu and this is slightly related, I hope you will forgive me and help me out anyway.

I installed Backtrack 5 from a USB stick. Now it shows up in GRUB as Ubuntu. This would not be a problem if I were installing another OS that was not Ubuntu, but since I am going to be installing Ubuntu, it will be extremely confusing to have multiple Ubuntu entries. What do I do? Will the real Ubuntu show the version as well? (Backtrack only shows up as Ubuntu with no version).

Any help? Surely there is a way to edit the menu in grub. Now that I have Ubuntu installed, I can use any tools from the Ubuntu software center. I can tell which is which in the grub menu because they use different Linux kernels and are on different partitions, but for the aesthetic appeal of Ubuntu being Ubuntu and Backtrack being Backtrack, I would like to change it.
