Hi, this is my first post.
I can't find KDE 3.4 anywhere on the internet. I don't know if it's in any Ubuntu repos, but I need it to be 3.4. HELP!

why? it's development stopped some time ago. however libraries from it are still in the repositories (in case you wanted to run an older programme).

otherwsie there is a ditribution that still uses old KDE.

KDE 3.X hasn't been developed for a number of years by the KDE developers, having been supplanted by KDE 4. Another group of developers continued down the KDE3 path with a project called Trinity Desktop. That might be your best bet, at this point.

Oh. So I'm not the only one who hates KDE 4.:P

Just checked that website. I don't think it's compatible enough. I guess I'll give KDE 3.5.10 a try, because it's still supported.

I have an idea! Is Kubuntu 8.04 still in the repos?

See http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/kubuntu/ for the ISOs and you'll find the repositories listed on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades.

So how does that last page help? It's a tutorial on upgrading old versions!
