Hi,

To enter the search string, visibly, it is not compatible with Chromium. Does it work in your case?

I wished that they did not change their site. :(

Would you know something else than Google.com, that works, to search the web?

Thanks

I meant that I do not see the text which has been typed in.

I see only one char after typing whatever search.

You do know that Google itself doesn't support older versions of its own browser?

You're going to find it quite difficult to get support on questions relating to Chromium 6. Are you sure it's not 16?

Even though the Ubuntu Chromium isn't being updated frequently, the "normal" Chromium is at 18 and the webapps one is 20 (I think).

I have seen issues like this long ago, i think they were linked to font api's, even where fonts look scrambled. I always solved it by upgrading though. I just keep mine upgraded to the very newest ever since.

Why are you sung such an old browser?

I think this is less about chromium and more about your GTK (or QT?) theme.

Move temporarily back to the default theme of your DE (I'll be honest, I can't tell what you are using).

AFAIK, it's gtk2.
