View Full Version : [ubuntu] Screwed up desktop (XBMC as shell)

August 12th, 2012, 05:36 AM

I just tried to set up my HTPC. So I installed XBMC, and created a new profile to run XBMC as shell. The thing is, now when I launch other applications from there (emulators), the desktop gets all screwed up. It gets a lot bigger and pushes the screen to the right left corner, so I cant see anything but a small portion of the running up, and mouse in the void.

Is there any way to fix that?

It doesnt do that when I load either unity or gnome.

When I close the program, it goes back to normal.

I am in fact a noob, and someone might have brought it up before... but I couldnt find anything on shenanigans like these.
