Hi all, once again I find myself in a situation where I am unable to obtain a CD of the latest Ubuntu, would one of our UK users be able to send me a copy? I would prefer the 'Alternate' install version as this is going on to what could be considered a 'legacy' computer, all your help would be of much help to me, because going to college has left me strapped for a cash, and a recent broken leg mishap has prevented me from leaving the house in any form of comfort.

I will be very gratefull, please PM me if you can. Prove humanity exists in linux :D

Thank you.

Sorry I wouldn't ask this, but I'm in quite a situation as you can see.

School's just ended for summer and I'm gonna have a whole lotta time to fiddle with Ubuntu Dapper with not having a job :(

I'm a lot closer, I will do it then. Just PM me the details. I assume you want the Ubuntu i386, not any other architecture, what about Xubuntu?

Probably could've picked it up from me...I'm only a bit* down the road** :)

*assuming that a bit means 30-50 miles
**the road in question being the M6

I've got them, I'll post them as soon as they are both downloaded+burned. Might be a few days, as Bitttorrent is quite slow.
