I've had Ubuntu for years and never known this problem, a few days ago i could change desktop wallpapers as usual, but now whenever i try nothing happen, the little thing on the cursor just keep rotating, and all that happens is the desktop background changed to a solid color, usually black, purple or grey, also i cannot right click or do anything on the desktop.
but the weird thing is when i restart my laptop the wallpaper i chose appears as the laptop is restarting, but when the laptop resumes after restart it goes back to a solid color, does anyone have any idea what might be doing this?
