I have 2 ubuntu 12.04 boxes. One at work has a version that ends with .27, and one at home with a version that ends with .29. The upgrades are not in sync, meaning I don't get the same upgrades on each machine. Both are 32 bit. Both give me daily upgrades.

Help?

Do you have the Ubuntu backports repository enabled on the computer with 3.2.0-29? Look at the sources.list one each machine to determine if that is the difference. The backports repo allows you to get updates to software early.

The box with version .27 had the unsupported backport turned on. (counterintuitive). I turned it off. When I go home I'll check the other. Thanks
