Hi folks,

Take a look at this:

The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:

Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
The following extra packages will be installed:
libglib2.0-0:i386 libglib2.0-bin

libglib2.0-0:i386
libglib2.0-bin

The interesting bit is:

dpkg: error processing libglib2.0-0 (--configure):
libglib2.0-0:amd64 2.32.3-0ubuntu1 cannot be configured because libglib2.0-0:i386 is in a different version (2.32.1-0ubuntu2)

libglib2.0-0:i386 2.32.1-0ubuntu2 cannot be configured because libglib2.0-0:amd64 is in a different version (2.32.3-0ubuntu1)

I've tried everything imaginable to fix this and nothing helps. For instance:

apt-get -f install libglib2.0-bin=2.32.1-0ubuntu2 libglib2.0-0=2.32.1-0ubuntu2 libglib2.0-0:i386=2.32.1-0ubuntu2 libglib2.0-0:amd64=2.32.1-0ubuntu2

and

apt-get -f install libglib2.0-bin=2.32.3-0ubuntu1 libglib2.0-0=2.32.3-0ubuntu1 libglib2.0-0:i386=2.32.3-0ubuntu1 libglib2.0-0:amd64=2.32.3-0ubuntu1

but it always comes back to the same problem. I'd try aptitude but I can't install it anymore than I can install anything else right now. Here are some other bits of possibly relevant info:

I'm on 12.10, but get a very similar error
