I'm posting this info for others on here wanting to donate to Ubuntu but needed to
use other means than PayPal:

I was given this information at "Ask Ubuntu" (located here:
http://askubuntu.com/questions )

My question at "Ask Ubuntu" regarded donating to Ubuntu:
What's the address where I can send a check to donate to or use a credit
card? I refuse to use PAYPAL!

This is the answer to my question:

Canonical is the company that sponsors Ubuntu. It's the product of Canonical
engineers as well as of the entire Ubuntu community, the Debian, Gnu, and Linux
projects, and many other upstream projects and individuals.

Here's a USA address for Canonical:

Canonical USA Inc.
Suite 212 Lexington Corporate Center
10 Maguire Road
Lexington, MA 02421

That's a bit of a dilemma…

Okay, one thing to note is Canonical is a for-profit company, so donations aren't tax deductible and all that. They'd be just as happy — maybe happier — getting your business with some of their commercial services like extra Ubuntu One storage, or support, or if you buy stuff from shop.canonical.com (http://shop.canonical.com). Only do that if you actually want the stuff, though ;)

You might be interested in donating to one of Ubuntu's many wonderful upstreams, such as Debian (http://debian.org/), Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org/), GNOME (http://www.gnome.org/), GNU (http://gnu.org/), or the Linux Foundation (http://www.linuxfoundation.org/). You'll be helping Ubuntu all the same, and in (most of) those cases you're reaching non-profits who rely largely on donations to survive.

Any new means to donate? PayPal doesn't have my card's country in the list (Belarus) and transfers are very expensive from here :( I can pay in the shop with Visa though.
