Failed To Load Session Ubuntu-2d

When I turn my computer on I now only get the command line. After trying the startx command. I get an error saying "Failed To Load Session Ubuntu-2d" and my only option is to log off where I am returned to the command line.

I've noticed there are several bug reports for this, but I cannot find anything about how to fix it.

Does anyone know whats going on? :(
