My key bindings for Fn keys with brightness down/up (F1, F2) and sound off/down/up (F4, F5, F6) are recognized but have no effect.
Commands like 'echo 200 | sudo tee /sys/class/backlight/panasonic/brightness' work but it seems my Fn keys do not execute the correct command. The semi-transparent pop up (upper right hand corner) show up in all five cases.

1. How can I link the keyboard events to the desired action(s) and
2. what are they anyway?
