Hi everyone,
I'm unable to make a fresh install of 12.04 on my pretty dated computer. The installation process crashes immediately after I choose a user picture. There is a message that "colord crashed with SIGABRT in raise ()".
Interestingly, I've tried a fresh install of Lubuntu 11.10, and it also crashed due to colord crash. Installing Ubuntu 10.10 went without a hitch, though.
I suspect there is some hardware problem. Here are some details:
CPU AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3200+
RAM 2.0 GiB
Video card: Nvidia Geforce 6800
Please help me to solve this
