Hi everyone,

I installed Ubuntu 12.04 32bit on my PC (ASRock N68C-GS FX, graphics on board: NVidia GeForce 7025 / nForce 630a). After the sucessfull installation, I removed the installation CD and rebooted. During the boot process, I can see BIOS-related stuff, when it comes to the booting of Ubuntu, the screen gets black and a LED is indicating that not compatible signals are sent to the screen (wrong resolution / wrong frequency?).

What could be the problem and how could I solve it?

What I already did:
1) I tried to get into a non-X terminal during the booting to be able to edit system files manually -> did't work; the Tft didn't show a thing.
2) I tried to boot from the Ubuntu-CD to switch to a kind of repair mode -> not available for Ubuntu 12.04

=> Even if I would know what to do, I did't knew how to get write access to the installed system

Thanks,
K.B.
