I recently made the mistake of enabling "Pre-released updates (precise-proposed)" in the software sources update tab. I then clicked on "Software up to date" in the gears drop-down and told it to check for updates. It found tons of updates available, and I installed them all, including a new linux kernel with new nouveau driver. Everything is fine accept the nouveau driver built into the precise-proposed kernel seems to try to go faster than it can and becomes unstable - displaying noise instead of icons both in dash and the top panel - whenever I bring up the Dash. At the same time, animations are jerky even when nothing seems to be going wrong. Using totem often crashes the system forcing a re-boot. Booting into the previous linux kernel, everything runs smoothly with no issues.

What's the best way for me to warn/report about the problems with the precise-proposed kernel and nouveau driver?
