So I'm still using Natty, since it's the last version in which Gnome 2.X is an option. I'm trying to download the latest version of Inkscape, but the only one I can seem to get is 48.1 (not 48.3). Is there a package to get it? Am I limited since I'm still using 11.04? (Alternatively, I may be limited to the old version since I'm on a 64-bit machine. I don't know.)

I would really like to not have to upgrade my version of Ubuntu--or at least to delay it for as long as humanly possible. My thoughts on Gnome 3 and Unity are...not kind ones.

Thanks,
Adam

This is the nightly build (https://launchpad.net/%7Einkscape.dev/+archive/trunk) that will give you the latest version of Inkscape.

This is the development version so it may have some bugs and you should use it at your own risk.

The latest version seems to be 48.2 (you said 48.3... so I am assuming you want the unstable version) if you want to install the latest stable version on ubuntu you just need to compile it (http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/CompilingInkscape) from the source tar ball (http://downloads.sourceforge.net/inkscape/inkscape-0.48.2.tar.gz).
