Hi, I was browsing Ubuntu community wiki and found that many sections are outdated! For example visit to https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuEyeCandy and you will see that it contains outdated information!! Why no one is updating that page:confused:?

If you have some changes to make to it, get yourself a launchpad account and update it yourself. :)

Get on and edit it then - that's what wiki's are for.

Have fun :)

Hi, I already have launchpad account. Just want to know that can I post some screenshots there and edit the wiki? I am running ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

No reason why not.

I commented about that particular wiki page earlier (http://askubuntu.com/questions/150814/how-to-suggest-that-a-wiki-page-be-deleted).

IMO, it's really beyond editing and should be deleted. But I like expressing unpopular opinions ;)

What should I do then:confused:? I have seen that most of section is only applicable for 10.10 and lower. Should I remove those contents and add items which are working with 11.04+ .

Just add a <<Include(Tag/Deletion)>> on top of the page and it'll get on the delete queue.

Hi - Jorge - does that work for all the wiki's ?

You got any idea how often it gets looked at?

Cheers :)

That's for help.ubuntu.com, last time I checked it was a day or two max?

As far as I can tell for the other wikis you can just outright remove the information.

Thanks :)

Not found out how to remove community pages - I'll ask on the docs m/l at some point.
